I like how the font for the credits is the same font for Halloween 3 season of the witch

The Halloween 2018 opening credits, with the pumpkin reflating, represents Michael coming back from his catatonic state.

The Halloween Kills credits, where the pumpkins are on fire, represent the people of Haddonfield in that movie.

And the Halloween Ends credit, with one jack o'lantern growing from another, represents Corey taking over from Michael.

It's a strangely subdued opening compared to the two previous, but it takes a bit from what came before and becomes probably the overall best one

When I saw this movie in theaters, I didn’t know how to feel about the way the opening titles looked. It did not even occur to me that they were referencing Halloween III with that. Now, I really dig these credits!

I Mostly Really Love The Opening Scene Of The Movie, The Pumpkin Splitting Into Apart

If only the last pumpkin had maggots and worms coming out, it would be similar to the death of one of the kids in Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, who was watching TV with his mask on and then collapsed, and snakes, spiders, and bugs came out of his head.

Something cool I noticed is that each sequence uses the same title font as each of the first three films. The Halloween 2018 intro uses the original 1978 font. Halloween Kills uses the font from the second film. And Ends uses the font from Season of the Witch.

Gotta be honest, this might be my favorite opening credits of the whole franchise. Either this or Kills but as of now Ends!!! Love the pumpkins emerging from eachother like the franchise shedding its skin almost. The blood filled one at the end is the chef's kiss moment.

One - A pumpkin appears and then another comes in, bursting straight through over and over again, which turns about to be a message saying:
''Evil never dies... it changes shape''

Two - With the credits in blue instead of orange, it's a reminder of
Halloween III: Season Of The Witch

And Three - With this blank pumpkin right here, it doesn't change its shape. Instead, it tears itself apart, which lets us know, that this... is where Michael Myers, The Halloween Serial Killer of Haddonfield, Illinois... finally ENDS
