ALL Halloween Opening Pumpkin Credits (1978 - 2022)

These are all the films that have the iconic pumpkin opening credits from the first film to the last film to feature them, and yes, I counted Halloween III, and no I do not count Halloween 4 or 5. Just because it has a pumpkin in it doesn't mean it's the same style.

This video is for the Halloween Movies that fit that classic style and vibe that begin with the first movie.

The Ends intro is strangely subdued, yet it takes something from almost every intro that came before it, and might just be the best one

I do like for the new trilogy they used the coexistence fonts for the opening logos. 2018 used the font (and pumpkin) from 1978, kills used the font from Halloween 2, and ends used the font from Halloween 3

Fun fact: In the intro of Kills, there are 12 pumpkins. Symbolizing all 12 movies at that time including Kills.

The first intro is definitely the best one. Not only does it involve a real, lit up pumpkin, but it also features the knife-shaped silhouette that Michael Myers bears.

I love listening to the "Halloween II" (1981) version loudly. Like when hearing the organ, I just love putting that volume up because it's so cool and awesome.

My only real complaint about the openings of Ends is that it is clear that the pumpkins are now CGI, which is really jarring when you compare it to 2018, which clearly uses a real pumpkin, and even Kills, where I can't tell whether they used a practical prop or CGI.
