This show was great but its biggest problem was powercreep. They always introduced something stronger and had to make someone a punching bag to prove it.

Castiel as a low ranking angel in this episode of season 4, but in the future or already in every season and even season 15, he becomes the best dad/angel in the series.

Why would he not believe if angles are real. If demons are real, that automatic says that angles are real, too. I was waiting for them to show up later in the seasons.

Something you notice is how strong the hypocrisy is with these two there always ready to sacrifice for the other but can never accept the other died Dean gives his soul to cross road’s demon to save sam, Sam begs every demon to bring dean back, Dean reads every book and talks to everyone to bring sam back its a constant loop that Gabriel mentions is just toxic

There love for one another is so strong there willing to sacrifice eachother but neither can truly live without the other

This is why I stopped watching the show on the regular. Dean fought all kinds of monsters, but he scoffed at the idea of angels and fairies.

It was really at this moment Supernatural died and also became the biggest version of itself. So ironic.
