2:03 "Now the rest of the plan is simple. I fly to the moon; I shrink the moon; I grab the moon; I sit on the toilet lid- what?"

Chicken from Hell? Should call it "The Colonel."

A robot dinosaur helps our understanding of real dinosaurs? Grimlock would be proud.

For about 30 years I've imagined that protowings would have been used for display purposes, for mating, and that, just as with peacock tails, these markings grew larger and larger, eventually having a secondary use of providing extra lift to leap out of the way of predators. This new research into their being used to flush out prey is a very intriguing idea. I don't see why they couldn't carry both purposes, and thus would have favoured enlargement even more rapidly. Larger markings flush out more prey so would be an desirable trait in mating as well.

Doug: What is Seven Days of Science?

Me: This man asking the real questions here.

Doug: Genuine question.

Me: And that's why the pay him the big bucks.

Really interesting. A good way of keeping up to date. Particularly interested in the moon info. Thanks.

ANOTHER Hell Creek dinosaur discovered? Jeesh, it makes everything we thought we knew about the ecology of the area even from 20 years back completely obsolete. Absolutely incredible discovery.

Makes me wonder what else co-existed besides famous namesakes such as Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus.

I've never heard of Flush Pursuing before.
Feathers really are multi purpose tools!

Studies showed that while the hermit crabs would more than willingly use rubbish and litter as a shell, when given the chance to swap to a proper shell, they jumped at the chance. Opportunistic responses to a common problem. Just know, if they have a choice between a real shell or our trash, they choose the shell every time.

I rescued some battery hens and gave them a loving home where they're happy, healthy and safe; *THEY* came from Hell (such evil conditions in which to keep animals.) This one just came from Hell Creek, a much nicer place to live!

Thanks, I thought my audio was glitching and I backed out, just to have to watch the ads again. Real cute!

For the hermit crab part I watch from @TheDodo short one of the reason is people taking empty shells as gifts and so the crabs couldn't find a shell so have to make due with our rubbish. Fortunately a guy is returning shells to this crabs and collects the rubbish.
