I have not even begun watching this video, yet, but I fully agree that if a man (or a woman, for that matter) says that he (or she) is going to do something, then that something is done!

Yes, there are extenuating circumstances, such as a family emergency, or a death, but barring that a promise made is a promise kept.

I can honestly say that I keep my word at least ninety-eight per cent of the time, and have been known to give myself massive grief when I do not, in spite of how understanding the other parties are.

And, for the record, I have ended friendships with people who constantly or consistently broke their promises to me, and have done so with no malice, hesitation or apologies.

Yes, I have strong feelings about this topic, but I also believe in having people in my life that honor who I AM and what I do.
