Believing in yourself is SO POWERFUL. Focusing on yourself, blocking out the noise, and stopping self sabotage ALL extremely key. Well said!

i take 2 trades in a day, some day both trades will fail within first 15 mins of the day. controlling not to take the third trade or wait till next day knowing you failed 2 trades is the most painful thing. you were correct on this one.

" Is it worth risking all of this for that one trade?" You got me right there
Thanks for sharing

No time limits changes everything for people with profitable strategies. It won’t help anyone who doesn’t have a good strategy with risk management.

I think the trading game should really be about "Slow but sure wins the race". There is alot of content out here showing people passing challenges in one and two trials, yet that doesnt guarantee sustainability in the longrun. The focus should be on reducing position size and risk exposure to below 1-3% within a trading day. And avoiding taking too many positions, especially when there is no setup. The ideal is to take positions only when setups show up, even if it means waiting for 1-2 days. I would rather take 2months to finish the challenge, since we now dont have time limits anymore. There is always a good trade ahead.

im currently on approximately my 30th 100k funded challenge. ive failed all 30 and only passed phase 1 once. i understand ive wasted a lot of money and made a lot of dumb decisions but i refuse to give up! 💪 but i agree 100% that psychology has to be the most important and hardest thing to master in trading. its so important. if your reading this and have failed many times as well or even less. dont give up! I BELIEVE IN You!

After many years of stumbling it occurred to me that the Us30 Stock Indice is what you need for prop firms. 5 - 10% per trade risking 1% exactly at NY Equity Open 9:30 Est.
In forex pippage terms this market travels 3000 - 5000 points per daily candle on average, twice the volatility of Gold. Once it's gone chances are it's going to your TP or your stop as long as it's during equity open, no zig zag tendencies.

Its alot harder with forex due to a lack of volatility, which extends your time in the markets subjecting you to excessive stop hunts.
Trading with the hedge funds is easier than trading with the banks.

The time limit removal was a game changer for people like me that only trade Forex, since prior to this you only had a window of 22 days to pass the challenge and even less considering some months with 2 or 3 days of major events where volatility is crazy and you can't trade. If you started the challenge with some drawdown you may not have enough time to recover, even when you had a statistically proven strategy you just didn't have the time for it to play out.

The removal of time limits in prop firms offers traders a fresh perspective on conquering Challenges or evaluations. The existing 30 to 60-day constraints often lead to mental strain, causing near-success to turn into failure due to rushed decisions. By eliminating time pressure, traders can focus on refining strategies, comprehensive risk management, and adapting to market dynamics. This shift cultivates a healthier trading mindset and promotes a skill-driven approach to success, rather than a time-driven one. The result is a more resilient and effective trading journey, where traders can navigate challenges with a liberated sense of strategy and patience. Thank you for your video, explaining what lots of traders are going through, including myself!

Good confession. I have about 12 failed challenges. I've also gone and blown several personal accounts immediately after losing a challenge. I'm then left depressed for day's and scared trade 😢

Congratulations! The unlimited time makes it better for me too. I usually get 1 A set up a week and to only trade that and to have the discipline and patience I play cash game poker to occupy my time and feeling of having to be in the action. Been playing since I was 15 which also helped in learning to become a good trader.

Respect for sticking it out! I’ve failed a few myself, but it’s all about learning and adapting. The first time I passed was with Top One...transparent conditions and great support helped a lot

You just explained what I have been going through since the other day I counted my loss challenges and there were 15 of them and I got so disappointed that why I am not getting anywhere but you are so true and thanks for making this video it was really helpful and motivational especially asking the question of why we trade and if it is worth it risking your loves ones so yea I think all is emotional and we should try to control it otherwise we are being controlled by emotions

Man I needed to hear this. I have been struggling with greed and trying to grow my...new account...fast. This has caused me to take three many trades and the commissions and fees just dig into my profit and even if I make a profit on the day, i end with a loss because of the commissions and fees. I would make more if I was patient and reduced the amount of trades I made.

Nice to see your own channel Tim! Met you over on Nicks page. I passed my first phase, very first challenge, second phase feels like a breeze even with the time limit. Really thanks to you and Nick and all the massive amounts of info around the internet. Oh, and over 12 months of study and demo accounts. 🙂Cheers buddy! Keep up the good work!
