I am currently 1:15 seconds into the video and you have already convinced me to go for it

this video is motivating af. i definitely fell into the 'keep putting it off for 1 more upgrade' camp and made heaps of baseless assumptions about how sweaty the mechanics are, but after starting to learn waves it really just comes down to staying calm, and practising enough that you can solve the wave before the mistakes pile too high. Treat your hp as a resource to spend that can be replenished most waves.

this might sound boring, but watching full runs can be super helpful.

#1 tip to inferno from me is that EAT EVERY TIME YOU HAVE TO! Do not save the food for the situation that never comes because you die.

What helped me do the inferno and keep me motivated was writing down each death with date, wave and how many supplies i had left. It gave me a good sence of how much i improved which in turn kept me motivated.

I remember my first Infernal cape, SGS was my bread and butter. We're not going to talk about how long it actually took me per run. Great advice, love the vid !

Getting my first deathless solo cox and getting a 425 invocation ToA were harder grinds than Inferno for me, probably could've done it earlier. It's really fun to learn and definitely achievable.
Worth bearing in mind that I had 150 solo cox raids where I died and 100 TOA expert runs where I wiped too so I was prepared to have a lot of patience for inferno. Learning content properly e.g. mage running & 4:1 at olm, butterfly, insanity, red-x, wave-skip, level 4 zebak takes a bit longer but the payoff is massive in the long-term.

I also found the visual metronome plugin to be extremely helpful for flicking

took me 117 attempts to get it then went right back in and got 3 kc in a row, was the most fun ive have in the game and didnt really felt the anguish of not getting it right away. its a journey

To do the inferno you really just have to keep doing the inferno and watch other people solve hard waves like wave 63. I completed the inferno twice in 2019 I got to the point where I could basically make it to zuk everytime, then I quit playing osrs for a few years, when I came back I wanted to complete the inferno again, I basically had to relearn it, too me about 15-20 tries to do it again after coming back, thats about 20 hours. The hard part is solving hard waves, because once I got to the jad I got it first try after coming back.
