As an Atlas main with 750 matches, i cannot believe that theres someone who literally shares the same opinion on builds as me. Literally everything thats said is exactly what i do except 2-3 small things.

1- I run tank emblem with Hp, Phys def % and Tenacity cuz early game Atlas is very weak and cant tank much as well as his passive def got nerfed twice. ALSO, while support emblem is arguably better, it is only good with a 5 stack when your team is well coordinated and knows how to position so you dont have to take UNNECESSARY dmg in order to protect them. Also your team needs to know that Atlas has LONG cooldowns in early game and to CHILL OUT. So, if you are with randoms, i highly suggest tank emblem and also phys boots matchup pairs well with Tenacity so you can sustain so much more in gold lane against other tank.

2- i really dont like Rapid boots as lets be honest, enemies will have a crap ton of CC saved especially for YOU. I always prefer armor/resilience over overpriced speed. Phys boots are op if they are favourable and tough boots i dont believe i need to explain. Also, please make sure to collect Nana smooch and Selena traps to allow your team to safely traverse the zoned path in case they need to confirm a kill or retreat after getting jumped.

3- As a tank, your job is to do everything you can to aid your team, *SELFLESSLY.* As such, i tend to buy Immortal last and i dont buy it always. I believe that, if Antique Quirass is applicable, you should definitely buy it after Athena Shield cause it REDUCES ENEMY ATK, helping not only you, but your team as well! Imo, last 2 items are flex spots for Atlas and its usually Guardian helm and Immortal but that isnt always the case and if you need Radiant or Blade armor, i'd ditch immortal if i can afford to (if they dont have absurd burst and cc) because guardian helm is super important against lategame pokes and its much more useful for teamfights cuz after u set, u can fall back low on hp and sustain much faster once u hit manual heal. Sometimes you cannot really afford to retreat and guardian helm is a must mostly. Also, i tend to use Queen's wings if i need to tank a lot of dmg in case its a sustained teamfight, where atlas is BAD! Dmg reduction can help a great deal to last a BIT longer on the front lines for your team however, take it after Immortal got popped. Tbh, theres also a very rare case but, if both items are popped and you have enough gold, sell wings and get Oracle to sustain better with Guardian helm and return faster on front lines.

Also, if you are low hp but the teamfight is still raging on, stay in a bush or in the backline and try to stun or even better, ult an enemy so you can still do something for your team even if you die. Try to be useful even when u have low hp in case you MUST and you think your team wont do well without you.

Few more tips for Draft:

Make sure both Roam AND Mage are already selected in enemy lineup and watch out for flexible picks like Edith or Grock as they can easily go exp.

MAKE SURE TO BAN MINSITTHAR as for some reason, his ult now forbids you from ulting although your ult has 2 phases and phase 1 isnt a dash and when you use phase 2, you are already CC IMMUNE from Phase 1 so it literally makes no sense!

Also, watch out for purify heroes like Argus, wanwan and Kagura. Also watch out for enemies that can afford to use Purify like Pharsa or Clint. Both are very important targets and both have CC and T H I C C burst.

My ult doesn't drag to the direction i desire like the drag button is stuck. As a atlas main i am discouraged and embarrassed whenever the ult doesn't work please help

Unless dominance ice is in dire need due to an enemy with hard heals/spellvamp, I like to go for guardian helm very early. First item in some cases. Most cases you'll want athena/dominance/guardian in that order. Boots either rapid or tough depending on cc. Support emblem almost always, but not always. That's a hard one to know when. 2500 atlas matches and counting. Great video!
