They should NEVER make their actors uncomfortable that’s so wrong

I think that Mr. Heughan is correct! He is absolutely moral, and very courageous to speak out against this injustice, it sets a boundary within the Industry. He is a professional actor that should have been clothed, and the shot revered his expertise. Mr. Heughan needs an excellent Entertainment Attorney to review this material. Thank you for sharing. Im not a soldier, Im of sound judgment, who has witnessed too much "crap" slip inside the Industry. Great for Mr. Heughan.

I'm standing with sam I personally think that In the earlier series where he ended up being imprisoned and basically reaped by that man. That they made it way too much for what the series needed. And he did not have to go that far. And as far as nude scenes, it's not necessary.

I think this have to do with the scene Black Jack Randall rapes him, but in the end, frontal nudity was cut, which by the way, was the right decision, since we are allowed to see by his facial expressions he was daydreaming about Claire while it happened, showing he was also mentally assaulted. We don't need to see an erection to understand the scene. Funny thing Tobias Menzies shows frontal nudity twice in the show and nobody says a thing!

Sam did not expose and because of this they got a coach for intimate scenes. Sam problem solved. This is not a shadow

I’m glad Sam decided to spoke up for himself. It’s makes me like him even more.

I thought the scenes were over the top when I watched them in real time. I almost stopped watching the series after the Wentworth episode with Randall & Jamie. I would never, ever watch that episode again. And would tell anyone watching the series it to skip it. It was unnecessary to explicitly show. It would have been enough for the audience to infer.

They did take it too far. Thanks for saying it Sam

I have wacthed the show on Netflix twice. I have not been able to wacth the whole Randell scenes either time. As soon as Claire leaves the room I skipped it the second time all the way.
If you haven't seen it, it's best to fastward, we are all adults and could have used our imagination 😅

I think you are misrepresenting what he has said. He said he didn't like filming the rape scene he had with Black Jack Randall. Do you blame him. It was hard to watch as well. Keep your hate of Sam Heughan to yourselves!

He was referring to the rape scene with Randall…in other words full frontal…I don’t blame him…we didn’t need to see his boys to know what was happening to Jamie…good acting from both actors but the scenes were traumatic and seeing it once was enough for this girl…I fast forward those scenes except for Randall getting trampled by the coos

Je ne vois pas ce que cela aurait apporté à cette scène de voir Sam Heughan nu de face. Il n'y avait aucune raison valable à mon sens qu'il soit filmé de la sorte.

ABSOLUTELY!,
He is right because actually I have been reading from the actual fans of the series that the same way that happens to me everytime that someone mentioned those scenes almost everyone says the same, and it is that when they repeat watching the first seasons they normally "jump" those scenes because they are very uncomfortable to watch, they are WAY TOO STRONG FOR THE TRAMA and I don't think that they need to be that much raw and cruel, so YES, HE IS SO RIGHT...

The scenes with Black Jack were WAY too uncomfortable. I have always thought the scenes with Jamie and Claire are tastefully done.

Actores encantadores, lo que muestran en las ediciones, no pueden ser mejor.

I’ve always thought those scenes detracted from the show. Could never watch when kids were around. It just went too far. I would have to agree with Mr Heughan. This is really theonly negative about Outlander.

There was never a scene that I seen anything but butt and boobs. I sure hope that this can be resolved. This show has been a great time with people and being with them. I have never seen Sam's privates. Please make this year a final to be a proud one. I will miss these people. A true loving family.

Completely presented as what Sam totally naked in the show. He wasn't totally naked. He said that complete nakedness was the way it was originally in the contract. He wouldn't accept complete nakedness. The filming of his backside was uncomfortable but more true to the book which would have been truer if he had accepted the original contract. He only said he refused to show his genitals and wore a bag to cover the front. I have seen all of the episodes dozens of times. While I might have wished for a wee peek, I have never seen his genitals. He was naked in his own Men-In-Kilts show, although we didn't see his genitals. He grabbed those to avoid pain as he was running along the beach from afar of the cameras. He was offered a contract. He required the contract be altered to only show his backside. The creative team altered the contract. There's no betrayal. He had the right to choose not to accept the original contract, and he did. No "noodle" with "meatballs" were shown. No shadows were created. All of us wanted a full body nakedness script. Sam didn't.

I agree the rape scene was too much, however if he signed a contract saying he would do nude scenes, he should have had it say specifically what he would and would not do
