I'm sorry that Sam had to go through that harassment, I mean... he IS the living personification of Jamie Fraser and he did it very very well. As a fan of the books, he hit it spot on. I can't find a single negative thing to say about him in all the years I've been watching Outlander. I love Sam and I don’t think he is gay but I know he is very quiet about his personal life. That only leaves people curious. You don’t see him dating and that is another reason people think that. Wow, this is pretty sad Sam's had to endure all this :( . I've only been watching the show for about 3 years, and I was very lucky to have met Sam in Melbourne 7 weeks ago. Absolutely lovely and charming, as heartbreaking as it is to see the end of Outlander, I can't wait to see what's next for him! Oh, and I went to the event in costume as season 1 Claire, and he called me 'Sassenach'! when he saw me, so I called him 'Foxcub' back, and well, we're married now lololol
