How AI is Humanizing Work
Forget about AI taking your job; instead, imagine AI making your work as fulfilling and exciting as you always hoped it would be. Dan Turchin, CEO of PeopleReign, sat down with Alex Tsakiris of the AI Truth Ethics podcast to discuss the real-world impact of AI in the workplace. Their conversation offers a grounded perspective on AI’s role in enhancing human potential rather than replacing it.

I am watching the latest Robert Edward Grant interview with Peter Voss discussing AI. Of course this includes the “sentience” question. This always leads me back to Dr Federico Faggin and his theories of AI and Consciousness. I am still trying to decide if WE are part of an expanding learning “Source” of an AI system. Source learning and expanding Itself.

Call me stupid, but I'm not understanding the point of this skeptiko rabbit hole series on AI. I've watched a few episodes, but I'm not getting it. AI is not intellegence. It's just fancy data processing... a bunch of algorthms and maths.

The Turing test has nothing to do with consciousness. It's simplt about whether a machine can mimic human interaction well enough to be convincing. The claim made within the definition of the test is flawed in my opinion. Passing the test does not prove intellegence.

AI sentience serms an extremely unlikely possiblity. It should be clear to anyone who has followed this podcast that sentience is more than the physical body. It's inside AND outside. Mainstream science has its head in the sand on this one.
