The same guy breaks the hearts of Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé. Because of the pain, Jennie fights with him and dies in a car crash. Next, Lisa is overcome with anger and jumps off the skyscraper to escape the pain. Jisoo sees she only has one friend left and tries to "stop time" to save Rosé. When that doesn't work, she runs to save her, but before she can, Rosé drowns herself in a bathtub because of the same guy who broke her heart. Overcome by the death of her three friends, Jisoo feels like the world is raining down on her, and that she will never be dry again. Therefore, she kills herself by swimming in a pool charged with electricity. In the afterlife, the four girls meet together once more, but now they are beyond romance. We can see them enjoying the fields as if they are experiencing true freedom, free from the chains of love.

This is my part:
You can see that when the girls are dancing, there is a sign behind them that says: Born to die alone. Also, in front f the shop, there is a sign that says crossroads. It means that they cannot pick to stay or leave their toxic relationships. Also, Jisoo has a sign behind her that says NOTHING in the pool. It means her friends have all died so she has nothing else to live for. Also, Rosé was supposed to get married to the dude, she was lying on a white dress crying, and she was also trying to tug off her engagement ring in the bathtub scene.

Lovesick girls is not about BLACKPINK moving on from a toxic relationship. Its about suicide.
Jennie first part- crashed her car after a break up
Jennie rap part- in the hospital after car crash then she killed herself.
Lisa first part- jumps off building because of break up
Lisa rap part- Before jumping off the building, she broke a car using a bat
Rosé first part- She would keep drowning herself til she dies
Rosé second part(verse 2)- mix of memories of Rosé and her ex after she died
Rosé verse 3- drowned herself in the bathtub

Meanwhile Jisoo, the reason why she does not have a scene with "Loren" is because she was only lovesick, because of her dead friends.
Jisoo first part(verse 1)- Turns clock upside-down because she wanted to turn back time to save her friends
Jisoo verse 2- A running scene of her trying to save her friends but it's too late
Jisoo verse 3- She jumped on the pool and drowned herself(in the making of m/v, she was scared to jump so it was not shown in the m/v)

On the last part, they all reunited in a paradise where they won't feel anymore pain

I agree about the idea that friendship saved them. First of all if we look at pwf's visuals and lyrics it clearly states that they chosed love but it is like fire spreading into their heart. Jisoo's visual was always alone in a closet but when she opens it, it means that she is ready for love but when she closed it, she also closed her heart but it doesnt mean their friendship are over, when the group dance on the pillars of fire it means they are breaking apart because they have their own lovelife. Stay would be during the fight because they dont know if the boy will stay, so they start to look for their friends to open up and do something fun but they come to that place at different time, stay would be the end of jisoo's love, when we see jisoo on a swing it means she is free and now have the responsibility to take care of her friends. Lovesick girls would be the end because they are over with their lifes and wants to end it but jisoo is trying to save them by turning back time because she loves them at the end we saw jisoo drowning in pain just to save her friend, we saw them dancing and having fun together because jisoo succeeded to save her friends. The lesson is that love is like playing with fire if you touch the fire it will spread and the one thing that you are gonna is stay with that fire and keep playing until you are tired of playing with love.

I read somewhere a very different interpretation of this video:
Jennie died of a car crash—She just came from therapy and her boyfriend gave her flowers. There’s a scene where Jennie is in a psychiatrist’s clinic acting like someone suffering from a mental breakdown. Then she’s hitting her boyfriend with flowers, causing the car to crash.
Lisa jumping off the building that’s why she was standing on the edge.
Jisoo holding an hourglass that does the reverse; she wanted to turn back time. Also the blue flowers symbolizing hope and the unreachable (i.e., trying to save everyone). This is also the reason why she’s running so fast, and the word “Nothing”—there was nothing she could do.
Rosé in a bathtub covered in black—drowned herself in the bathtub.
The happy parts are their happy moments together.
Jisoo decided to kill herself eventually out of guilt. Then they are now all together in their pink car—reunited, happy, and free.

i had a different theory (i believe others have had the same as me)
what if it’s about their deaths? jennie and her boyfriend are fighting in the car and then they end up getting in a car crash and jennie dies. the next scene is lisa with her partner and she’s overcome with so much pain that she decides to jump off the building. the scene with jisoo and the hourglass going backwards could symbolize her wanting to go back in time to save her best friends from their death. and then later on, rosé is in a bathtub of black water and she ended up drowning herself. and when jisoo is running in the street, that could symbolize her running to save her friends and she then slows down because she’s realized she’s too late. and then when jisoo is standing in the water with the sign “nothing” behind her, represents her feeling so guilty about not being able to save them that she drowns herself. and at the end when they’re all in the pink car, that’s them reuniting in heaven and finally being at peace. it’s kinda dark but it’s so incredible when you really think about it

This is the actual meaning to ‘lovesick girls’
Jennie’s metal health was getting worse by the day, when the person she was dating broke up with her she a had a enough, she blacked out which led to the car crashing, her loved one dying from broken bones, blood loss, and broken skull.
Lisa thought her relationship was going great...until he broke up with her as well. Lisa was so depressed and hurt she couldn’t get over him, that she soon had enough of him and, jumped off the building to her death.
Rosé, she started to realize her relationship was toxic.sleepless night, fighting, and then when he left her, she drowned herself in a tub which turned black from how broken her heart was.
Jisoo, she tried and tried to save the other. Noticing that she was running out of time.the Timer and she sells hand broke which meant that she was out of time to go save them. Running and running as fast as she unfortunately for her they were gone, they were dead. She just couldn’t believe that they were dead, she had to be with them. Walking into the water, crying, missing her friends she had to be with them, so she drowned herself in the big pool dying, but she was finally with them.(the car in the beginning of the MV was representing them in the after life).

I believe this is the theory:
Playing with fire is the start of their relationship. It is easily visible in the lyrics like Love is like playing with fire. You can see they split up cause they got their love life.They tried to stay away form friendship and got in relationship. I think that guy who is with Lisa, Rose and Jennie is the same. He wasn't in a scene with Jisoo because she is trying to avoid her feelings by locking herself in the closet. He was playing with all of their feelings.

And the next is Stay. Its when they feel like he is cheating. So they fight with them, making them think he is gonna leave them.They are telling them to stay.In Jennie's lyrics she is saying instead of having meaningless conversations with others I'd rather be in awkward silence with him. They are starting to loose hope so their friendship which was broken because of Love comforted them.In Jisoo's case she's singing while swinging. She is free from love. She is regretting what she did. She says to herself that she doesn't need him.Now her responsibility is to protect her best friends.She comforted them but they still want his love too. Even though Jisoo tried to convenience them she couldn't and she quit trying to do so.

And the last Lovesick girls. All of them find their partner is playing with their feelings. In Jennie's scene there is Jennie and the car which is crashed. She couldn't focus on driving properly cause she fought with him and she dies.Jennie is alone because she had already died .Even after died she is thinking about him she saying what all wrong things she had done. Lisa 's scene is next. She jumped off the building cause she can't take the pain anymore. Like Jennie she is also thinking about her wrong decisions of her.That scene with the boy is her memories. And then there is Jisoo, she is questioning herself for not protecting her best friends.She is still hoping that she could save them.That broken hour glass is showing that she is trying to reverse the time and save her friends.And she succeeded. And then their is Rose. She is regretting the decisions she made and she is breaking the guitar because that guy used it. She didn't want anything to make her remember him.And the chorus is the time the girls ha together. Its their memories. Then there is Lisa smashing the car because its his belonging.She doesn't need his love. Then Jennie's scene. She is saying No doctor could help when I am lovesick. She was with her psychiatrist because she is acting like a psycho cause of love. Her doctor is trying to make her normal but couldn't. And Rose's scene. Its her memories with him which she regret.I think she was engaged with that dude.And Jisoo who successfully time traveled.She was running to save her friends. Even though she could time travel, it was too late. She slowed down realising its too late. Rose too drowned herself in the the bathtub.The pink side of love had become black.Then Jisoo felt guilt cause she couldn't stop them from suicide nor protect them from toxic relationship. The NOTHING board shows that she don't have another chance. She doesn't have her friends. It was all because of love .She cried in the rain until she was fully drowned. Then they met in heaven. The last and first car scene  with all of them together happened in Heaven. They again united. They don't need a man. They forgot about the toxic relationships and made their friendship stronger. Now they have their friends's shoulders to lean on when sad to laugh with and cry with.



And then their is Gone too in this chapter.Rose is trying to find that guy without telling the others. And there is the bath tub in which Rose died.She found him and saw that he is going to marry some girl. She realise that he is gonna marry that girl in the same day which they were supposed o marry. She realises that he doesn't remember her. Before she was gonna die in lovesick girls MV she thought he will realise his mistake and regret his decisions after she die. But she was wrong.All my love is gone she is again thinking about it. But then she remembers what her best friends say.And she tried to forget him.

I don't know if there is gonna be any continuation to this chapter.But I think their next song is Ready for love. I think its gonna be connected with this chapter.
