I'm so glad I found this video. Had a new roof put on and no signal when they put the dish back up. Directv said they couldn't get anyone out till Monday and its super bowl weekend and I had no tv. You for sure saved the day. Saying thank you doesn't do enough justice.

GREAT INFORMATION!!👍🏼 I had 95% and some channels still were out. With this information I adjusted the dish slightly and got 100% all channels worked as the should. Canceled $90.00 services call, thank you for putting in the time!!!!

I was convinced my dish was bad or cable was damaged from being submerged under water at my Marina, turns out idiots at marina had knocked dish out of alignment. Followed your video and fixed the problem. Can't say THANK YOU enough sir.

Had to adjust my dish after the roofers took it off and put it back on after putting my new roof on. Just had to make a couple adjustments to get signal back until the satellite guy can come back out and fine tune things. After watching the video, I had the confidence I could do it and it worked. Thank you for identifying the location of the "new" single, lock-down bolt (1), for the azimuth fine-tuning adjustment, replacing the prior bolts (2), used on previous versions of DirecTV satellite dish, which nobody else thought to mention in many searches I made.

you rock! 2 weeks with spotty cable due to 771 signal loss...was at 85%. - fixed it with a broom (bad enough I was on the roof let alone being on a ladder on the roof). I only had one person but could hear beeping as signal strengthened - thank you!!!!

Just had Hardi-Plank installed on my house which required removal of dish. Was regretting calling AT&T ($99 service charge) to re-adjust for signal. Watched this video and started with 12%-15% signal strength. After 10-15 of adjustments, achieved 99% reception. Will probably have to do it again after new roof goes on next few weeks. But, will be easier this time. Thanks!

Thanks! We had a new roof installed and when they put the dish back the signal was only 80%, i was able to get it to 98% in just a few minutes with my wife watching the signal meter on the tv and talking to me over the phone. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5-STARS for your help
