Like any kit when you get any kit it and it says RTR then take it apart and learn the vehicle. Refill shocks and check tightness of the shock caps, A lot of 'Electric" guys that have never really ran nitro cars just send it then get on here and piss and moan a lot how their nitro is sucky lol. No, dont swap out your glow plug after the break in, clean it with break cleaner and compressed air.

I've had several fast electric awd RCs, never had Nitro, why would this be a bad first?

Just an FYI when you break in this truck and run the 5 tanks, especially when you are doing the 3-5 second pulls at full throttle, if you have any kind of head wind no matter how slight the truck will flip over backwards. I can't imagine what it would be like if the gear ratio was changed? I was able to get my broken in just fine, with the exception of multiple back flips. Make sure you have a lot of real estate and ease into the throttle! Also I would look into a Flow Tech body from Proline to keep this truck planted. I have an electric slash the pulls about 65 mph because I have it geared for top end. I have a flow tech body and stays pretty well planted. I hate to see you guys scratch up your new bodies. Hi, I have a problem with my nitro slash. When the engine is running, the LED on the receiver starts flashing green/red and slash does not respond. He doesn't do it regularly. It's happened to me twice and I crashed = full gas. Well thank you. greet from Slovakia.
