RC Nitro Model After-Run Procedure | Traxxas

Required Items:
-Glow plug wrench
-Needle nose pliers
-Compressed air
-Paper towels
-Soapy water
-Traxxas Air Filter Oil (Part #5263)
-Lubricant (After-run oil recommended)

Well I have to say I have never used after run oil on any of my nitro buggy's and even 10yrs later still running like a champ

Traxxas please listen to us, MAKE A NEW It would be so cool to see a new nitro product from you guys plus we need it in the rc hobby because all these electrics in the hobby get boring after awhile and dont get me wrong electric is plenty of fun I love my x maxx, but please do consider making a new nitro maybe like a 1/8 buggy or truggy or even a rustler 4x4 nitro!

Love the nitros keep Nitro alive I will always buy and favorite a nitro over any electric any day, Electric just has no thrill and is completely boring

you really only need 3 drops of after run oil in the carb and crank it over for 5 seconds, it works its way up. my O.S .21TM Tmaxx Classic runs good and i only do after run oil when i let it sit for a week or more

What if I don’t have a easy start on my nitro car?? How would I get the after oil around the car ??

I use VP racing fuel and it says on the Steel Gas can. After run oil is not necessary. And i check inside and sure enough the cylinder is clean. I do clean the filter though.

Putting afterrun oil in the carb isn't needed
