Meanwhile the other bystanders are probably just wondering what the hell he's talking about. "It's a squamous, reticulated, anthropomorphic saurian!" "Huh?" "It's a darn weird lizard-man!"

I love the dunwich horror. It's one of my favorite cosmic horror stories. I listen to the audio books all the time. I need to dust off my book of lovercraft stories and read them again.

I love that HPL directly mentions Machen's The Great God Pan, which makes such elegant, expressive, engaging, sophisticated, emotive & excellent use of written English & which clearly inspired HPL & many others. Top-notch adaptation, HB!
