I love how, in the throes of horror, with this terrible monster in front of him, Armitage just starts describing it in very distinct, scientific terms. Meanwhile the other bystanders are probably just wondering what the hell he's talking about. "It's a squamous, reticulated, anthropomorphic saurian!" "Huh?" "It's a darn weird lizard-man!"

What a skilled salesman, that bartender. Sold thrice the volume he normally would have, with a captivated audience.

This is the best adaptation of Dunwich Horror ever made, bar none. A superb gem. I've listened to others since finding this one, and I always come back to this.

Hard to fall asleep without my Horrorbabble. The HP Lovecraft I thoroughly enjoy.
Thank you for all the hours of enjoyment, Horrorbabble.

One of horrorbabbles best pieces of work. You really respected the text, and your own dramatic touches blended seamlessly with it. Much better than most of the stuff on TV.

God, that scratching noise at 38:43 had me remove my head phones and look around my dark empty room for the source of that noise!

Damn right, comfortable place to sleep, missus asleep but no matter, she will be spared the fear and madness, head phones are on and I'm going to delve deep into the Dunwich Horror, thank you again for your fantastic Audio renditions of Lovecraft!

This feels more like the style of reading Lovecrafts' stories where meant for. Drama. Exclamation. Suspense. All of it animated in the imagination with the aid of theatrics.

Well done. : D

Turn out the lights? Yeah, right. I'm listening to this in the middle of the day with all the lights turned on. 😂

Excellent as always! Loved the horror babble theme playing on the rickety piano in the background. Another drink gentlemen?

I've listened to this and the call of Cthulhu 7 or 8 times. Currently writing an eldritch horror Dungeons and dragons campaign while I listen at 6 am.

Thank you for giving me the perfect background story to complete the creative setting. Love your work. ❤

The old boy playing the HorrorBabble tune on the piano is a nice touch.

I love the dunwich horror. It's one of my favorite cosmic horror stories. I listen to the audio books all the time. I need to dust off my book of lovercraft stories and read them again.

I love that HPL directly mentions Machen's The Great God Pan, which makes such elegant, expressive, engaging, sophisticated, emotive & excellent use of written English & which clearly inspired HPL & many others. Top-notch adaptation, HB!

Wow, this is the best friday late night thing to watch while alone and no one is there to hear the horror. I loved it at full.
