The destruction of Walakea’s tribe foreshadowing the US Government’s raid on Innsmouth (the destruction and cover up) is one of my favorite details. A world superpower can’t do anymore against the Deep Ones than the small coalition of Pacific tribes could accomplish.

This is hands down my favorite Lovecraft story. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve listened to your original Shadow Over Innsmouth video, it must be nearly 50 times. Your voice and tone ARE Lovecraft for me, whenever I read any Lovecraft story I always hear your voice in my inner monologue. Thank you for bringing my favorite author to life for so many years ❤

Ever impressed, that demonic fish people, somewhere between praising Cthulhu and summoning Shoggoths, managed to learn about the prohibition, made a conscious decision to circumvent it and supplied their town with bootleg liquor.

All my homies hate Innsmouth, strange people though they may be I sometimes find myself on the edge of town -- my body pointed towards that long oft reviled destination. I am losing my memories, though the homies say that I have never been more lively. I have lost hair, and apparently been taking it in stride. I bought a ticket, a purchase of which I have no recollection. I have apparently convinced the homies to ride along. I am at the gate -- looking at the bus that will take me there; to innsmouth. I feel serene. I am at home.
