What an inspiring and interesting interview. I’m American and still find her story fascinating. She’s definitely blessed but also determined. I think more Americans shouldn’t dislike immigrants but admire their bravery. I think many Americans have just lost hope and have just given up on the American dream after all we’ve seen and experienced here. Immigrants have fresh eyes and haven’t become jaded. America isn’t easy but the opportunities are vast. You just need some motivation, hope and determination. Her story should inspire millions around the world. Bravo.

For those saying that working in America is like slave labor, please get to know those Kenyans who are making it here. I worked in nursing homes, restaurants, hotels, etc. I saw those jobs as a stepping stone to where I wanted to get. I'm at a different point in my life after completing my masters and I don't regret having to work in those industries to help me get ahead. They made me who I am today. I have the utmost respect for anyone in the service industry
