Very sensitive to sound. It started with my husband snoring. I hear the sound like electricity throughout the home. I have tinnitus and had tests done all negative. Thankthe Lord. It's in both ears. I use over the counter tinnitus drops and use ear plugs. I take medince for insomnia. But I still hear the sound. One time, I asked my husband, " I hear crickets do you?" It's inside my head. Other than that I'm blessed.

Since my 5th attempt for killing me my ear ringing in is permanent in both ears, but I detect like if I were having a 3rd ear inside my head on the back overextended like a half meter away too.

Thank you for this vital information. I've experienced this phenomena many times in my left ear. Initially skeptical about its significance BUT since recording the event in my journal it was like it triggered a need to accept the illogical ( can't be scientifically measured). I initially thought it was only me experiencing this left ear ringing ( high pitched) but now I feel different about it - having viewed comments here.
