Sulphur burps feel like I’m about to shit out my mouth. It’s the most disgusting feeling ever.

I always find that every time I get the sulphur burps I always get sick or have a stomach virus.

I’ve had these since I was a young child. It has ALWAYS been a miserable experience. As of Easter 2024, I had it again.
Drank a lot of water, drank some tea and had multiple antacids. Slept the entire day with vomiting and other bathroom needs in between. Out of all the times through my life, this one was the easiest to deal with.

In the 10 years that I have been suffering from this, I have gone to a doctor TWICE about it. One time a year after it started, and then just recently in March. Both visits were with a nurse practitioners.
BOTH said they had never heard of rotten egg burps.
When a medical professional has never heard of them, know you are not going to be taken seriously.
Maybe if they looked at the internet, they could see all the people who suffer from these.

Yes I constantly have this problem especially because I have Gerd and if I eat too much. I tend to realize that I'm having them. It's pretty disgusting I have to wait for my body to digest the food and then a day or so after that it's i'm fine

I've been belching lately and it tastes like eggs even though I haven't eaten eggs. I take Metformin and Rybelsus for a while. But this has only recently started. I felt nauseated, too.

I’m assuming everyone watching this searched it because they’re burps smell like sulfur. I think it has a lot to do w the amount of dairy and sugar you are consuming. I say that because i ate a cheesecake drank some milk and had some candy (munchies) and about 2 hours later I got sulfur burps. Good luck to us all

I am on Ozempic and I had one day of suffering with sulfur burps. I am 40 years old and have never even heard of this until I started reading peoples comments on a support group of Ozempic. It was horrible🤢

my doctors dont beleive this, but since i have tourettes, they mess with my body. their physical, and their so severe my body starts hurting, and ive had to go to the hospital once cuz i kept passing out all day from my freeze tic. my doctors dont even think i have tourettes, since i lie a lot. but i wouldnt lie to the point i has to go to the hospital. but anyways they get so bad my stomach starts hurting, and this type of stuff starts happening.
