Can we get a little more information fromt the callers when they have 90k in revolving debt? Was it temporary job loss? Did they consolidate other fixed debt into revolving debt? Did they impulse buy? or living costs? Living beyond means and above income? I think everyone who watches these types of shows are curious as to how the problem accumulated over time, not just the methods and approaches to killing the debt. You know what's even better than knowing how to become debt free? -- Knowing and teaching others how not to become debt burdened in the first place.

How is it that Dave is huge against social programs, against handouts, against other likewise areas, and yet preaches about walking away from debt and personal responsibility? He ran up that 90k. He earns nearly 100k a year.. It seems it is ok to not have personal responsibility when you paint the lender as bad people?

How does one get $90, 000 in CC debt? I have 1 CC with a $25, 000 limit (but never carry over a $200 balance).
