I just signed. I’ll explain my experience. No bias.

Most professional experience I’ve had with anyone financially related. The contract was read to me in full over the phone and questions were answered at any point. The employee told me I might want to crack a beer before we get started, it’s gonna be lengthy.

Here’s why I did it. I’m 9500+ in the hole. I owe them 7400 in payments. Basically I will deposit money to an account with them that I can control, and they pull from it to pay my creditors. They will negotiate when they have enough money in the account.

I’m assuming a lot of these creditors know this company and they work together in getting things paid. So I save a couple thousand, and they take off the top of my payment where they PROBABLY pay even less than the creditors then what I was told.

I enrolled in National Debt Relief in June. It is working so great. I was at a point with my finances that I wouldn’t have gotten out of because I was on medical leave for 9 months.

Hell nah dude, spoke to a rep from NDR today and just emailed him back a big NEVERMIND. I don't want to do this. Plus the whole 1099 IRS tax thing. No thanks. GREAT VIDEO!

It’s a helpful tool. But the Lawsuit aspect is overplayed for regular people with 20 or 30k debt. A Lawsuit makes sense for debts over 100k

$35k+ in credit debt, credit score 500 even with payment history of 100%. Life changes affected so can no longer pay minimum on all debt compounded with late fees. It’s become a nasty spiral down.

I’m enrolled and it’s going well, one of my credit cards has already been settled for way less that what I would have owed

Question: When creditors make a settlement offer, do they usually require a lump sum payment? Or will they let the creditor/National Debt Relief pay the settlement in payments?

Those debt relief companies don’t do anything you can’t do yourself and save the fee they charge. No creditor has to agree to their terms and the creditor can sue you regardless if you signed up with a “debt relief company.”

I was on worker's comp 2 years ago for 6 months. They didn't pay me for the first 3 months, and then they found a loophole to pay me less than even minimum wage.

I had to live off of my credit card for almost a year, and now I'm kinda buried. Not sure what to do.

I have an unsecured debt of almost $37, 000. A little more than 2 years ago i had gotten a debt consolidation loan to pay off my wifes and my credit cards. This was done based on my wife and my income. A short time later, my wife got very ill and, after numerous hospital visits, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Credit cards that had been paid off were used to help with living expenses, medical treatment and medicines for my wife, and very much unexpected car repairs. My wife passed away 8 months after her cancer diagnosis. I am keeping all debts up but it has been a struggle. What kind of assistance do you offer for situations like this?

Thank you. I am so scared and stressed. The credit card companies did a random credit check on me and now my income is less because of divorce ( was using way too much credit for a bit but was doing my best and staying in the positive no late payment) and they stripped me of so much available credit which made my balance percentage much higher, which made my minimum payments go up and now I have no chance. I cannot even pay more than one of them per month. I cannot do the snowball because I cannot afford the minimum payments on them all anymore. My goodness what do I do ?
