How to make a Giant M and M Cookie! tutorial

Hey guys, Eloise here! I make simple recipe tutorials across my social media

Check out this giant single serve M&M cookie! It's like a giant movie night cookie! :) I shared mine, because I'm generous like that :)

All you need is:

30g unsalted butter, softened
25g granulated sugar
25g light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
35g oats
50g plain flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp cornflour
50g chocolate chips
50g M&M’s + extra for the top

Bake 170C (fan) 12-15 mins - let it cool fully on the tray before moving it
Makes 1

1) Preheat your oven to 190°C/ Gas Mark 5/ 170°C (fan).

2) Add 30g softened butter, 25g granulated sugar, 25g light brown sugar, 1 egg yolk and 1/2tsp vanilla to a bowl and mix to form a paste.

3) Add 50g plain flour, 35g oats, 1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda and 1/2tsp cornflour and mix to form a dough.

4) Fold 50g chocolate chips and 50g M&M's into the mix.

5) Roll the dough into a ball.

6) Place it on a cookie sheet and press it down gently.

7) Add more M&Ms to the top.

8) Bake for 12-15 minutes and leave it to cool.

9) Enjoy!

Are the oats compulsory? It’s not that I don’t like them it’s just that I have all the other ingredients except for the oats since I don’t regularly use them and I don’t want to have to buy them and then never use them again
