I'm having guests tomorrow and am tossing ideas around in my head for apps. VOILA! Perfect! And I happen to have a ton of homemade pesto at the ready and believe it or not, homemade puff pastry in the freezer! I've made sweet palmier in the past using sugar and cinnamon but it never even occurred to me to switch it up and make them savory so THANK YOU!

Looks really nice. I will try this for next reception, or serve it as an antipasti. But I will make one change, turn it 90 degrees. Roll it the other way, so that there will be green to one side and red to the other side of a snack.

Very nice. Making pesto is not difficult so I know these would be incredible with at least some of the homemade stuff, e.g., half Genoese green pesto and half Sicilian red pesto
