I like the Russian military uniforms of this period, they are different from the Western European and American military uniforms. But after the 2022 war, everyone start using Multicam, so the uniforms became boring.

Even though I don't have enough money to put these kits together, it is still extremely interesting to watch both the history and to see the kits that were used in this timeframe, May God give you health Ivan

I have specialized somewhat in Crimea kits over the years, they were my first Russian kits I ever did and I've done a few, love em. I think it's safe to say that an element from one of the Mountain Brigades was present, there are many photo's of the Mountain suit in use in a particular unit and the equipment fits. I did a number of articles on this subject on the Facebook page, Crimea kits were hands down THE most popular Russian kits but are now sadly neglected, overtaken by current events, shame really, although it has to be said that even though it was only 10 years ago, a lot of the kit is now quite hard to acquire. Great video as always.

Whatever you produce. It's some of the best Russian loadout information I've seen. Please continue your outstanding work.

Ssh68's were also seen in use with emr covers, 2014 was such an interesting period where Soviet and early post soviet equipment were finally eclipsed largely by more modern but still identifiably Russian pieces of equipment

Great video and very detailed. As a freelance photographer I've covered the Ukraine conflict from the beginning and in the past few years visited Rostov, Crimea and the Donbass.

The kit that got me into collecting! Funnily enough by the time I had enough resources to acquire it, I built a ratnik kit instead. Another fantastic video mate.

Awesome video, I’ve been looking to put together a similar impression so this is very nice!

It is actually quite interesting how the Russian forces still had Soviet equipment or any other foreign equipment on them to suit their needs. Like you said it, we all played Call of Duty back then and customization went wild after it since often times standard issue doesn't quite meet the expectations.

I was in the US Marine corps. Our belts were called riggers belts, and they were made of woven nylon. The color depends on your proficiency of marine corps martial arts; tan, gray, green, brown, black. Our boots not only had to be in regulation, but they had to have the eagle globe and anchor symbol on the outside of both heels, even though after a month it almost completely fades away. Even if you have the same boots, say RAT boots, if they don't have the EGA you can't wear them. Our undershirts were green cotton, some guys wore the spandex infused shirts that were tighter, but we were encouraged not to as they can melt to your skin if you're burned.

Interesting video as always. What about a video covering the uniform and equipment of the various forces during the 1993 Russian Constitutional Crisis?

Hello comrade, nice brief explanation on gears and showcase. I believe the song by the intro and part you showed everything together is Мороз по коже by Сплин, I couldn’t find the exact version of this song in the video. Glad if there’s any information about it.
