Recently I started drinking kava and after doing some research I decided to make a video about the science behind kava and the kavalactones that it contains.

This is awesome. Im a generation x and just tried Kava and it feels so mild, natural, and normal, yet very relaxing and good for focus. Sleeping after this is very gentle and restful. I like this presentation.

Awesome, thank you Chase, I am growing kava in Samoa where it's known as Ava, as you say, each variety has a slightly different effect, some sleepy, other uplifting and other very subtle lifting of mental pressure leaving ones mind free to move forward.

Kava is awesome I personally mix 1-2 tablespoons of the powder with milk and blend ‘em together and sip it until it’s done and get a nice soothing, muscle relaxing effect (I’ve noticed this as my shoulders/ jaw area are typically tense)

Be aware though! Over doing the dose with kava can cause nausea and throwing up!

Verify the source of the kava it’s a trial and error process but once you find the one that works for you I can tell you from experience that kava really is a natural game changer with helping relieve tension and stress!

THANK YOU! I've been looking all over the Internet for information on kava. Here in Hawaii, everyone uses its Hawaiian name: 'awa (pronounced _AH-vuh_ ). I had no idea its English name was different, which explains why Google wasn't giving me any results. Luckily, your video gave me both its name as well as most of the info I was looking for. Thanks!

Kava is the Lithuanian word for coffee so the video confused me before you explained that it is from Hawaii
