Is India Safe for Women to Solo Travel? India Female Travel Tips V Log

I wanted to make a quick video about traveling in India for women because I have seen this being asked in many travel groups and now that I'm here I wanted to share my opinion on the matter. As a male I was already having a ton of issues from people trying to cheat you, blatant lies and language barriers. So with these issues I could only imagine how much worse it could be for a female traveling in a country that is widely known for it's s*xual abuses against women.

That being said, I ended up having an amazing time after dealing with some ridiculous issues my first 24 hours, the rest got much better after I ended up staying with a couple honest and super nice hosts in other less touristic places.

If you're a female traveling to India I would highly suggest traveling with someone else, preferably a male. I would also highly recommend you try to stay with some reputable couchsurfing hosts so they can help take care of you, translate when needed and have a safe place to stay.
