Does anyone else agree with me that the Netherlands/Rotterdam have done a fantastic job in this extremely difficult year in terms of health, as they have organized this ESC in compliance with countless safety measures?
I had the feeling that it was just a great cheerful party among new friends with a lot of happiness.

this was probably the best year ever in terms of songs quality, i mean, maneskin was even too much for eurovision, and in a normal year some of the other entries would’ve been great winners (france, ukraine, finland, switzerland…). i think we’re getting really good entries in recent years, like 2023 and 2024 were also such strong years

When I watched eurovition that year I hated ”The wrong place” with a burning passion, but now I can’t stop listening to it.

Definitely one of the best 21 Tops I have seen, we've even got the same number one and the same bottom 5 (except in my case, it's Germany instead of Georgia). Thanks for appreciating Portugal and Belgium and not underrating the Netherlands, San Marino, or even NQS like Latvia and Czechia too much. The only things I would change are swapping Germany and Georgia and putting Denmark and Greece lower on that list.

What a lovely year and what a lovely top! Ukraine, Italy and Portugal are probably my most listened to songs that year so I was very pleased to see Portugal so high on the list! Deep down inside I am convinced this song's solo was the inspiration for including a solo in UK's Space Man the next year.

North Macedonia is my guilty pleasure, with Germany and Lithuania pleasures, not guilty ones.

And then we had top performances by Switzerland (gut-wrenching cri de coeur) France (class camera work for a song that is literally "here is my song") and Russia (finally dared to send something else than preaching world peace, an even more badass song than Italy's, but ruined their new "It's okay to actually like a Russian entry" streak by starting a war the next year). I don't want to ignore unlucky Australia, who unfortunately couldn't travel to Rotterdam with an actually extremely difficult song to perform.

But then there are plenty of entries that I don't like, so I understand the hype for this year even in 2024, but it can't be the best year ever for me.
