I dont matchfish any more fellas but i always tried to find a way to catch more fish, what about a ball of putty paste around ur hookbait lets say corn and then rolled in micros so the micros stick to the paste so when it goes down uve got the ball around ur hookbait which will probably increase the chance of fish just nailing the ball, but it needs to be more robust than a wet paste with just a few potted loose offerings.Very good vid fellas of how quick they empty the swin down the margins, would love to see if thats the method but worth a try, take care fellas and keep up with the top vids!

2020 has been good fishing wise for me, finally started match fishing after years of saying Id love to do it, sticking with one venues open matches for now and learning as much as possible

I watched both, there amazing 👍👏👏 the bomb showed how consistent and accurate your casting was/is. From a match fishing side, I wondered what would happen if you made up, say 50 15mm by 30ish mm PVA sticks at home ready to take. You would have particle mix around your hook and you, could introduce noise by catty to bring fish more fish in, method feeder without the feeder😱 it makes sense, but is that only in my head😂

I watched the margin vid so decided to up my bait input to a tennis ball size, kept fish in the peg longer, 26 carp and landed 12 as I foul hooked the rest competing for bait .

Love this.. Going back to the issues fishing/feeding the bomb accurately;would a pva bag be a better option in each case? Or (I know this sounds extreme!)... As pellets are elliptical they don't fly particularly straight.. Perhaps if someone developed spherical shaped hard pellets (like very small mini-mini-boilies) they would group together far better?

I ledge a weight in spring then spot a load of corn and hand full of maggots. Then float fish on anouther rod in the same spot u will always get silvers that way. Never used a pole. It always seems more hastle than its worth.
