How do you keep the micro bubbles out of the clear resin?

Why did you need to put a topcoat on instead of just going with the deep pour? Asking because i'm a beginner and i have a 3'x5' bar top that is 1 inch deep. I have pictures that are mod podged over and fishing lures and tuff like that. I could use any help and i would be so greatfull.

Why did you need to CNC the top-of-the-table? Did the epoxy not settle flat?
