I just recently started hosting my very own Adult Ballet Workshops for my experienced Joffrey Ballet students. There was a special performance opportunity for this original piece I choreographed and I couldn’t be prouder! A lot of dancers I selected from the workshop for this opportunity have either never performed or haven’t performed in a very long time. As a former professional dancer, I absolutely loved the whole process of learning new choreography, rehearsing, striving to perfect each movement, and then performing and trusting yourself to just let go and dance…so of course I wanted to make it possible for my lovely adult students to have that same magical experience. Whether you’ve danced as a child or started your ballet journey as an adult, everyone should be able to experience the joy of being surrounded by stage lights.

I enjoyed watching this and knowing that some of them had never performed before. Such a thrill for them, I know, having danced in a semi-professional ballet company in my teens. Your dancers were beautiful; they obviously have very good training! Finally--I loved the music you used. Bravo.
