Watched your earlier videos on the Silverado & Sierra Refresh, so I waited. Got a 2022 SIlverado RST Refresh 5.3 w/o DFM 10 Speed Trans. Leather & all the goodies. Purchased at Donohoo Chevrolet in Alabama(I am in Georgia) sticker was $59, 900 and they took $4000 off sticker, nobody doing that! They are still doing it. Thanks for all your videos Ben! Salute!!

That 10 speed transmission is phenomenal I had a 13 ram 5.7 6 speed and coming to the 5.3 10sp it’s a world of difference.

Got my 2022 during truck month in March. RST with the Z71 package. They threw in a soft tonneau cover, bed liner, trailer brake controller, 7 in side steps, and wheel liners. Best of all I qualified for the 0% financing. Nobody had trucks for a couple of years so I just saved my money and put down half of it cash. I got it for $51, 000. I'm very happy with my new truck. One thing I would recommend is putting on a ceramic coating. It took me about 4 hours to put it on by hand. It will help guard against chips and scratches and one coat should last 3 years, two coats 5 years. I remember buying a new truck in 2005 and a dog jumped up on my door and scratched it a week later. Same thing happened to this one a couple days ago, and no scratches with the ceramic coating.

Depends on what you consider a deal. I calculated the monthly payment with a $15, 000 trade in at 60 months, and it's a more than my mortgage on a house 4 blocks from Lake Huron in northern Michigan. I think I stick with my 07 Silverado that still runs like a new truck, has little rust and cost $6, 500.

I love that you can still get a column shifter, I plan on upgrading my 2009 Silverado to a 22 or 23 RST with a column shifter.

Just bought one....love new dash....10spd is so much better than 8spd in 21 and seats feel lil more comfortable as was gonna get LTZ but wanted paint match bumpers....and didn't really need all stuff LTZ

For another 2.5k though LTZ is alot more truck...

3 wks ago, bought a new '23 (40 miles on odo) white 4x4 Custom crew. $50, 565 sticker. Bought for $36, 800. Traded in '16 Z71 double w/ 67k miles & received $25k. Had 5.3 & experienced a "hard miss", check engine & anti-lock brake lights illuminated. could not retrieve code, but assumed it was an afm lifter sticking. '23 is turbo 4. Torque increased from 383 to 430. LT - RST high tech dash is nice, but not worth the additional $.

I’d be happy with the V-8 powered base work truck, I don’t need all the extra stuff that will just break and not outlast the monthly payment schedule. Am I the only to think that Pick-up truck manufacturers want to sell their products as status symbols now, instead of what Pick-ups were supposed to be?

Perfect truck for outdoorsmen that have a fishing boat or hauling side by side to the hunting lodge or towing a 7k trailer

I love the look of a painted front bumper and grill however it’s a nightmare to maintain. Rock chips wreak havoc on the paint and I was constantly having to use touch up paint on mine. White is the worst. I have a chrome bumper now on my LTZ and while not as cool looking it doesn’t chip.

No center console and no Bed liner for $60k. People gotta be crazy !
