This video is our first new in-depth review style. Please let us know what you think. We are going to try to shorten them a little so they're about 14mins max. Would you prefer that?

Centimetres, litres... oh... so refreshing to hear the proper units all over this video.

1. People who collected/bought CD's will still use them obviously
2. The CD player is an optional extra
3. It's well integrated

This is my first SUV (and Japanese) after a string of premium German sedans and wagons. They all have given me massive headaches and left me stranded on the road before, so I hope the Japanese cars will be better and after three years of owning this CX5 I am a much happier man!

Who else was disappointed the cd slot didn’t suck his card in? I was 😞

I’ve just been to Japan and visited the Mazda factory in Hiroshima where the CX-5 and other models are made. Amazing facility and incredible attention to detail. Mazda is a company I can really get behind for more reasons than one

One humble correction: You can indeed store the load cover underneath the floor by first removing the side covers. It's explained in the manual (I'm a proud CX-5 owner :)). Great video as always btw and I have no issues with the new longer format, except for some of the music maybe.

The CX-5 is not only an awesome vehicle but probably the best in its segment. Mazda is doing very well these days.

I'm from japan. Many people say Mazda interior and exterior are high quality in that price. And saying " hey TOYOTA, this is how you make car."

its practical, stylish and most of all - very low cost maintenance in
services , just got rid off two premium audis, that were constantly
breaking up and costing me fortune in maintaining them on road,
it was just failure after failure, oil leaking, water pump problems,
battery replacement cost of 800 dollars ! overheating constantly,
engine light that no one can fix even under warranty,
2 year service that cost 2000 dollars ! spurk plags replacement that cost cosmic price,
the list goes on and thats all under warranty bay bay german cars for me ...
I recently got two new mazdas CX5s GT turbo and i love it :-)
THANK U for the review :-)

In my humble opinion Matt is entertaining and gives well rounded, insightful reviews. I almost always chose Matt and carwow first when looking for car reviews. Keep up the good work. Funny how some comments express irritation with the presentation style yet they refer to the numerous carwow videos they don’t care for... here’s a thought, watch something else.
