The Book of Bill has just released and the Gravity Falls website ThisIsNotAWebsiteDotCom has just been updated, and it seems that Bill Cipher has finally returned! Within this new addition to Gravity Falls, there are new characters, new codes, and a brand new cryptic website! Join us on this theory series to try and solve all of these questions!

I like to imagine that Bill is the manifestation of humanity's inherent shape recognition. In art, it's common to understand that circles mean safety, squares mean stability, and anything with a sharp edge (or more commonly, triangles) means danger. It would make sense that Bill, as the embodiment of primal fear of pure danger and chaos, is the representation of Humanity's greatest fear; the unexpected

to further blur the lines between Fiction and Reality: 
In the new animated short "How NOT to draw Grunkle Stan", an animator accidentally summons Bill, and Stan yells "DIDN'T YOU WATCH THE SHOW?!?!"
This drawing of stan KNEW he was from a TV show.
And, after duping the animator into making a deal, Bill takes his place in the "Real World", and Stan casually Remarks, "Eh, bet you my Niece and Nephew stop him."
despite knowing he's from a tv show, stan still relies on Dipper and Mable to stop bill in our world.

He can transcend imagination. He is also called The King in Yellow or Ra of the Sun. This "entity" is a mathematical structure describing complex numbers and fractals

There are two points in this video that I just want to pitch in and give my own interpretation on. First is that I think that our reality and the Gravity Fall reality are separate, and I think this way for multiple reasons. When you type “Mystery Shack” into Bill’s website it opens up a new tab to Confusion Hill, one of the inspirations for Gravity Falls, and the real life Bill statue that’s in Confusion Hill was found in Reedsport Oregon, not a real place called Gravity Falls. One of the urban legends in the book is The Off-Model. A creature that takes the form of cartoon mascots like Dipper. Also when Bill talks about Weirdmageddon he starts by saying “Look, you already know what happened next!” This shows to me that Bill is aware that Gravity Falls is a T.V. show in our reality, further separating the two. It’s also important to note that Bill is an unreliable narrator. He is doing everything he can to manipulate us into freeing him from his therapy. So when Bill talks about the two realities as one and the same, that could be part of the manipulation. The hyper realistic parts of the book can just be a stylistic choice without any other relevance. And lastly when you talked about Bill being an idea and a story, Gravity Fall is also an idea and a story. So the R34lity that The Oracle went to with the other Henchmaniacs I think is ours.

And this leads me into my second alt interpretation, that being the rule that The Oracle broke. We know that Bill is unable to enter into other realities himself. He needs an already existing portal to go through. And the rule that you talked about in this video is that Bill can only enter someone’s mind if he gets permission from them or someone else first. Considering that The Oracle can make portals herself I don’t think this is the rule that she broke. Instead the rule that I think she broke was Stabbing Bill in the back when she made a portal into R34lity for her and the other Henchmaniacs to go through, without Bill.

I think the full narrative of The Book Of Bill is that after being defeated at the end of the show, The Oracle took it upon herself to lead the Henchmaniacs out of the Nightmare Realm. Bill then sends his book to us in order to try and get us to free him into our reality, so that he can take revenge on The Oracle and Henchmaniacs for leaving him behind.

Honestly, Bill's a BEYOND tragic villain... He accidentally destroyed Euclidia and regrets it with every fiber of his being, people like the oracle paint Bill in a bad light like he did it for fun, and he lives in denial saying he's fine...

Ok but how did he access the nightmare realm after he destroyed Euclydia? If he had a physical form in Euclydia then why wouldn’t he have a physical form in every dimension?
