Been watching your videos about a month now. And ive started my own excavator land clearing on the side. And as of this friday. It will be my last day at my full time job, cause of the high demand of land clearing and stuff. I cant operate both. But your videos have helped me out. So thank you and keep the videos coming

I work for a water well drilling/service company monday-friday 10+ hours a day and work for myself Saturday and Sunday from daylight til dark. I do shop welding, handyman, and tractor work. I just bought a john deere 3025e with a loader bucket, box blade, and bush hog with a 7x18ft dove tail trailer and with 2 clients I've made over $3000 in 2 weekends. I need to get more clients so I can work for myself full time

My wife almost heard that I didn't need an excavator to get started. 🤣 Great advice Todd and excellent work. Yeah, I bit the bullet and bought a real GoPro because my el-cheapo Faux Pros were terrible.

I am retired from being an industrial mechanic for over 40 years and wanted to start doing gravel driveways and general tractor work. I purchased a l3902 Kubota and I don’t have a truck to haul it around so I just drive around looking for jobs that can be done and I’m finding that people are willing to have you do some other jobs while you’re there. I just wanted to let you follower’s that you can make a lot of money just driving around looking for work thank you for your channel you bring up a lot of great content and I have even learned a few things from watching. Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks be safe. RR

The smaller jobs generally have a higher profit margin and once you start taking on medium to large sized jobs then you start competing against big companies that are harder to compete with because they own their own gravel pits and can shave their prices lower.

I’m experienced with many types of equipment. I grew up on a farm and have operated about everything. In saying that, I appreciate the common sense approach you take to teaching people your way of doing things. I love seeing good people make it in this world. Keep at it brother.

No doubts, A good way of growing and saving your money is through investing . You don't need to have much before you can invest. "That little money you have now can make you millions if you invest it wisely". I want financial free until my 40's and I'm still in my 40's, bought my second tractor already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made

I’m with your wife on measuring the m&ms! Thank you for sharing your knowledge for those of us starting out. I’m currently staying small starting my side hustle with the use of my mini excavator. Estimating the job is the hardest part for me, which is why I choose to stay small. Please continue to share pricing jobs and quantifying. The “guys AND girls/ladies and gentlemen” verbiage doesn’t go unnoticed; thank you.

You’re a good man for sharing what you do. Pretty rare in this industry. Helping people be better instead of holding them back will return to you ten fold I believe that.

Good job brother. You can't fake being genuine, and I believe you truly care about helping your neighbor, keep it up.

This is the first time I’ve run across your videos and I’m very impressed. There are so many who don’t give instructional advice on starting light grading business. I grew up running equipment but had no idea about business which is why I never tried it for myself and now I’m too old to be starting down that path but I’m glad to see someone unlocking the mystery and showing that a dream can be achievable.

When I started my tree company (side hustle), I spent the first season raking yards and pushing a mower around so I could afford ropes. It wasn’t long after that I could purchase a tractor with confidence, AKA client base.

Great video and appreciate you making it. I just purchased a John Deer 333G and have started a business doing forestry mulching, driveways and house pads. This is exactly what I needed to watch. Very detailed and you have great instruction. I normally would not even comment on videos, but if it helps you make money then I’m all about helping anyway I can.

Also could you make a video on what exactly is road bond and show and explain the materials that you use for driveways/roads

Thank you for sharing your prices with us! I am in Tennessee and have started my second career in life in forestry mulching and excavating. I absolutely LOVE it! It is great to have someone like you giving advice and helping with prices. No joke, I am always eager for your next video to come out so I can see what you did for the day. lol You have a great attitude even when things don't go your way which is rare these days. Be sure to make time for your family though. God, Family, work. In that order. Thank you!

I’ve really enjoyed your videos Todd. I’m a high school teacher that lives in a suburban setting. We recently bought some property out in the country that we plan on building a small log home on. I’m trying to learn as much as I can about tractor work as I’ll eventually need one for mowing, grading, and general homestead work. Your videos have been super helpful and I thank you for that. God bless!

I’m an exterior contractor. I specialize in all sidings. From vinyl to masonry. I subscribed to learn more about running a machine for landscaping/drive entrances on new construction. I essentially have a goal to have my crew to build a home from wooded land to turnkey home. I want to also get a mulching head for our 289 cat. There’s not many in se TN with mulchers

Hey bud. I want to thank you for your videos. I'm in Phoenix, AZ and your videos inspired me to start my own excavation, grading, demolition, and clearing biz. I literally started my biz on March 1st and my phone is ringing nonstop. My friend owns property out in the desert and I was able to play with my 2017 Cat 301.7D for a full day until I got the controls figured out. Watching your vids helped me bid jobs and land them! I'm from NC and next time I come home, I owe you and your wife a steak on me (because I'm certain she's the behind the scenes of your operation! )! Thanks again bud!
