These dogs were never intended to be that size. That's the main reason they all will not all but most start having really bad hip and joint issues after the age of eight. The cartilage between the joints was designed to hold a certain amount of weight when you bulk up these animals past that it does unnecessary wear on the cartilage eventually leading to bone on bone grinding I have three American Staffordshire terrier s and I love all Pitbull breeds (all 13) so when I see stuff like this where they're sacrificing the animals health for their visual approval breeding dogs in that method does nothing to benefit the dogs it's purely for the benefit of the dog owner makes them feel better the person's feelings doesn't Trump the dogs health
