& you can hold down the power + volume up button for a few seconds for a reset if you cba to open the flap..

I know I'm on a z1 but under one of the flaps is a tiny red button you press in to reset the phone (doesn't delete anything just restart button) and holding a volume key and the power button also seems to work

my old Z2 seems borked- when I push that button, it resets and goes into a boot loop again. it doesn't stay off..

You can also press the Power Button and Volume Up at the same time - this also shuts the phone off if it's unresponsive.

Hello, my Xperia Z2 restarts constantly and automatically without a break and when it starts over, it doesn't even reach the home page. all what it does, is just remaining at the blue screen for about 20 secs and restarts again. I even tried to get the SIM card and the Memory Card out of the phone but the problem is still existing.. I'm afraid i'm losing my DATA

Most simple way is long press the power button+volume Up together...the phone will reboot..
