I would add good dock lines, I like those dock lines with preformed loops, a neoprene float section in the middle and down the inner core of the nylon center section is a bungee cord to absorb the shock from wakes and currents. A 50’ -100’ of rope capable of towing another boat or to get towed with, jumper cables, and a small tool set, spray paint all of them blaze orange so you can find them and write the sizes in big writing with a sharpie. I have an anchor and I have a heavy mesh bag with a caribiner that I can put big rocks in to make a shore anchor and have my other anchor offshore if I breakdown and can get to shore so the hull doesn’t get destroyed by rocks. Just make sure you're insurance company covers your rods, reels and tackle. I was told yes by my agent but when my rods were stolen and the claim placed it was denied stating that rods/reels are not part of the boat (attached) they are a carry on item.

I would grab some tips from the dealer on loading the boat on the trailer from the water. How far to back the trailer in before loading and if it is designed as a drive on or float on trailer. Some of those basscat trailers seem to have a sweet spot depth of bunks in the water for loading.

Spare prop with prop wrench. Small tool set. Fuel treatment. SPF 30. Insulated coveralls in case you have to get wet and get back in.

One thing I’d recommend, if you don’t like any of the factory stickers / decals, remove them when the boat is new! I changed my mercury decals to match my boat color, and it was a pain when they were 2 years old.

You need a good Push Pole for shallow water or if you get grounded, since you're not to get out of your boat during a tournament.

Practice backing up your new boat “trailer”. before you hit the boat ramp. I went from a single axle to a tandem axle trailer. A 17’ tracker to a 20’ Vexus. The trailer pulls, tracks, and backs completely different.

I would add to check the fittings under the console for any steering fluid leaks. This fluid in some boats are added after the delivery to the dealer and could need to be tightened.

Picked up a brand new boat brought it home checked the prop and it wouldn’t spin, dealer didn’t put the prop on right had to take it back to dealer, good thing I checked before I got it to the water! Everyone should always do a walk around their boat before launching it!
