Nice video Brian. You can skip the Aqara hub and go right to HA with Aqara Zigbee devices. They are contrary regarding repeaters, so use the Aqara plugs.

I’ve been loving the thought of these new aqara locks, I just don’t like that I need their hub to use it. I have a smartthing V2 and if products don’t work natively with this hub, I tend to look away from that product. I wish there was “one hub to rule them all” that I wouldn’t need any additional hubs for anything. This one magical hub would connect to things like the switch bot curtains, the aqara lock, etc and all the products will work in harmony without any issues or excessive battery drain

I hope narwal goes auto empty bin and D shape with a roller style mop that self cleans like I think one of the eufy ones have, that would be the best robo mop ever

Yet another useful video, Brian. Thank you. We've found the fingerprint unlock of the Aqara U100 lock to be well worth the extra cost. YoLink might also have some good sale items. I love their new hub with cellular (LTE) backup.

always look forward to your new videos (fellow Albertan). Any recommendations for a Zigbee LED controller compatible with Homey Pro? The IKEA one seems a little expensive (and big) especially for areas that I just want a few feet of LED lights (like my office desk). Or a Zigbee LED kit that has everything for a reasonable price.
