Something that I just Some of these items, being cut in place, were surrounded by stone, on all sides. Were they going to lift them out of the holes? Or, carve a path to pull them out? Both would seem to be just as monumental as the carving of the items, themselves.

Each time you mention the quarry and show photos of a quarry, it's the wrong quarry. As the quarry shown is in Aswan and is a GRANITE quarry, not a LIMESTONE quarry.

I wonder how many times people have to demonstrate cutting granite before these people understand that it is perfectly possible for ancient egyptians to cut granite.

The first block looks like the unfinished obelisk it's cut from red granite totally amazing. This was to be picked up from the Quarry carried to the Nile, put onto barges, and sailed down the Nile to Luxor

They chose rock above ground, put lots of logs from Lebanon in holes dug under the carved rocks, moved the rocks downhill to the Nile, used locks on the Nile to raise and lower boats, built ramps on the other side of the river, and moved the rocks downhill to their destination. They left a lot of broken pieces as they learned.
They could grow more food than they needed, so they were the richest people on earth.

The cutting on the four sides seems hard enough but how do you cut underneath the chunk to get it loose? I mean the bottom of it is still connected to the quart

His numbers are way off. A fully fuelled SpaceX starship weighs 5000 tons and it is an order of magnitude bigger than this.

That’s not the quarry he’s talking about. In fact that’s the Aswan rose granite quarry showing an 1100ton obelisk.

The blocks were cut into sections and then reattached at their intended site.

Imagine that they just calved the stone were they were found and didn’t actually move anything
