I’m sad to say that I took for granted some of our music in the 70’s (we expected it to be good!) but listening with y’all is making me appreciate it all the more!! Fresh ears and all LOL 🤗

The great thing about ELO is their songs are very diverse. Love all their music.

Don't Bring Me Down is my personal fave.

Jeff Lynne is a genius. ELO has some great music. Saw them in concert a couple times, loved the shows.

There’s also a tribute to George Harrison from the Beatles that features Jeff Lynn, Tom Petty, and Prince doing while my guitar gently weeps which is a must watch.

Love this group. ELO had their biggest hits in the 70's-80's & mixed modern rock pop songs with classical overtones. Jeff Lynne wrote most of their songs. They had a lot of great hits such as "Roll Over Beethoven", "Showdown", "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", "Evil Woman", "Strange Magic", "Livin' Thing", "Telephone Line", "Rockaria!", "Do Ya", "Turn to Stone", "Sweet Talkin' Woman", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Wild West Hero", "Don't Bring Me Down", "Shine A Little Love", "Last Train To London", "Confusion", "Hold On Tight", "Twilight", "The Way Life's Meant To Be", "Here Is The News", "Ticket To The Moon" etc.

You need to see the video of TELPHONE LINE live at Wembely London 2018 .The lightening effects are great. Also the lead singer Jeff Lynn was in the Traveling Willburys band, and video END OF THE LINE you watch. This was with George Harrison of the Beatles who form the group, Tom Patty and Bob Dylan were in that Video too.

Everything Jeff Lynne touches is gold. There is a live performance you need to see. A tribute to George Harrison with Jeff, Prince, Tom Petty and more. Specifically “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. Prince’s guitar solo is one of my all time favorites.

ELO, to be honest, is Jeff Lynne. He's a genius writer, musician, singer, producer. He's produced McCartney, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Beatles Anthology, Traveling Wilburys, and on and on.

ELO is one of those bands I never get tired of.
Ya know?
Like, sometimes when you hear a song think "not this again" but with them, I never feel like that.
Can listen to the same songs over and over and never get tired of them.
Happy music!!!

You don't know how pleased I am to hear you say how much you like this band. Cos ELO have to be THE most underrated band on this earth!
I'm pleased to sat that recently, they've had bit of a revival after playing at Hyde Park a few years back. The crowd went crazy for Jeff Lynn (Lead singer). And he was just amazed by their reaction, he couldn't believe it. I was over the moon for him. ❤❤❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😳🎷🪕🎻🥁🎸🎤

Everyone always talks about Jeff Lynne like he was the only one in ELO. He’s a genius, no doubt, but this was a stellar *band*. This video features the classic lineup, with Bev Bevan, Richard Tandy, Kelly Groucutt (whose harmony vocals were amazing), Mik Kaminski, Hugh McDowell, and Melvyn Gale. This group of talented musicians created the classic ELO sound we all love, not just Jeff Lynne

Jeff Lynne went on to produce the Beatles for their Anthology series and his second group the Traveling Wilburys. He produced, co-wrote, played multiple instruments and sang back-up vocals on Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever.

I have always felt that ELO was kind of underrated. They are a super band and definitely created their own sound. This was one of my favorite songs as a kid and still is.

I don't think ELO has had any bad songs. Love them and also y'all for helping to keep Real Music alive.

I saw ELO in 1978 in Denver, Colorado. It was called their Starship tour and the stage came up from the ground and it looked like a spaceship with lights flashing every where. Great concert!!!

These are my favourite group of all time. They didn't make one bad song. And they have a huge catalogue of songs. You have to go down the ELO rabbit hole. PLEASE

Imagine hearing ELO in the mid-70's when they first came out. They was such a progressive sound for that day.
