Bears rumors: According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the Bears would be a finalist for Lions OC Ben Johnson to be their head coach if Mike Vrabel becomes the head coach of the New England Patriots. Will Johnson be the Bears head coach for the 2025 NFL season? Also, the Bears have interviewed Mike Vrabel, Drew Petzing and Anthony Weaver for their head coach opening? Who is next for Ryan Poles and the Bears front office to interview? Bears Now host Harrison Graham breaks down the latest Bears news & rumors.

In other Bears News, the Titans have requested to interview Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham for their vacant GM opening. If Cunningham lands an NFL GM job, the Bears would net two 3rd round draft picks. Also, Bears’ interim head coach Thomas Brown is set to interview for the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator job. Brown is expected to interview for the Bears head coaching job at some point.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano on Ben Johnson:
“I think he’ll have interest in that job [Bears]. Jobs with a good young QB are the most likely for Johnson, though maybe Chicago and Jacksonville more because the Patriots might be locked in on Vrabel.”

Pete Carroll’s Seattle Seahawks resume:
- 137-89-1 in 14 seasons
- Super Bowl 48 champions
- Super Bowl 49 appearance
- 5 division titles
- 10-9 playoff record

I wish thomas brown the best he did what he could and came out with a win IN GB! Thats fact alone gives him a plus in my book. A few more seasons as an OC and assistant HC he will be leading a franchise in no time

What's funny is Pete might be the only coach with enough experience to right this ship. Also his demeanor is perfect for this group

The Bears need a veteran coach!! The Current players are unhinged they need leadership!!

Y - Pete would put together an incredible coaching staff - coordinators who want to be head coaches - will come here. That’s how this works. They don’t go to work for 1st time coaches who are coordinators.

other than Johnson, he’s the best choice - by far.

Harrison provides the best Bears coverage and it’s not particularly close

I’d be happy with Carroll honestly. He is older but he has a proven record and seems to be respected and loved by his players and other coaches. Give us a good couple years and train up his replacement like he did in Seattle.

Pete should be top 3 candidate...He would be one if he was 64 not going on 74. He would replace Vrabel as my #2 after Johnson. Go get Ben!!!

Da Bears would be lucky to have him. As a fan of a team in the NFC West, we were all happy to see him go. Guy has won everywhere he’s ever coached. Still can’t believe SEA let him go.

Respectfully if you heard Richard Sherman’s breakdown of the Bears and Caleb Williams before the TNF game, you shouldn’t care about his opinions regarding the team. It was clear he didn’t watch them.

I now want Pete over anybody. The past few days of hearing about him has me sold. Please let Cunningham find a job this offseason

Yes I would love Carroll. Proven and experienced

Why are the Bears not interviewing Liam Coen? He has turned Baker Mayfield into a satiscal MVP candidate.

Hes 73 too damn old. We need a coach who can be around for 10 years like Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh. And we need an Off coach to develop Caleb. Carroll also had issues with rotating coordinators, that is exactly what we dont need.

Y, I would be happy with Ben Johnson, Kliff Kingsbury, Vrabel, or Carrol

I wish whatever head coach they choose would have to keep brown. He has the connection with Caleb and when he was strictly the OC after Waldron got fired he was great.
