Police fines are a major source of income for our Kerala government.

Youths are providing genouros funds to Kerala economy by giving police fines for illegal modifications and also pumps money into the market via local workshops that modify cars thus providing living wage to semiskilled
labours like welderss, sheet metal workers, workshop mechanics etc😉

I am from Himachal Pradesh. Mods in Punjab are literally tractor tires (even in motorcycles) multiple overhanging horns, unwanted body kits, big led lights, and some basic stickers and those guys think that they have the coolest looking vehicles. But Keralites have a really good-taste and good sense of car modifications, hats off!

I went to Kerala in November for Holidays. And it suprised me that every guy of my age (19-25) owns a bike, especially there is a craze of MT15. And every guy owns a customised helmet wether he is driving a scooty or moped. They have good craze adopting new vibes

I’m from Tamilnadu, I’m sure the eye towards art and architecture is so lit 🔥 in Kerala.
It’s so evident in automobiles and houses especially. A big fan!

As a Malayalee…I’m happy people like our car culture..
I’m currently working on a Suzuki esteem track car with my homies and aim to push around 300 WHP..
Will take a lot of time and money but there is nothing that can replace our time and memories spent around that car..

കേരളം...♥️
Modify ചെയ്യാൻ ആർക്കും പറ്റും പക്ഷെ MVD മാമൻ കാണാതെ കൊണ്ട് നടക്കുന്നവൻ വീരൻ 😌🔥

I was shocked to see 2 of my friend's cars as the Thumbnail.

And the answer to you question how do we keep the cars modified when the laws are strict

1. We avoid the police, either by taking short cuts or long cuts
2. We mark certain days and most used places for police checking
3. If caught we beg to reduce the fine to the lowest
4. Some days according to the police presence we don't take the cars out.
5. Sometimes even the police don't care sometimes I've seen some good police officers praise the car and ask about the mileage the cost of the hood or so on ..

So in short the police are kind off friendly at times, it's all a game of calculated risk...

The fact is that Kerala has one of the toughest or strict motor vehicle laws in India and still people are modifying their vehicles is due to their passion and love towards vehicles ❤
