I'm both ace and quoiromantic. It's a weird dichotomy. With asexuality, I can definitively say "I know what sexual attraction is, and I know I have never experienced it." With aromanticism, I can only say, "I have no idea what romantic attraction is, so I have no idea whether I've experienced it or not." For me, the feelings I have toward close friends and the feelings I have toward partners are the same feeling, and I have yet to truly identify what distinguishes a "friend-date" from a "romantic date" other than the words we use to describe them. Fun times, fun times... 😆

Do you think its ok to be aromatic and want to be in a traditionally "romantic" relationship. I personally can't see the line between being platonic and romantic and my comfortably between them changes where it's more of a scale than a separate distinction. What is romance anyway you can go on "dates", Hold hands, kiss, high five, hug, cuddle, whatever with your friends. Where is point where it's romance. I have I general desire to be close to people physically and emotionally even if I can't focus it on a singular person
