Thank you for this :) I started studying by myself, but I was (more or less) just learning to recognize symbols and listening to audio of specific words, (which I now realize was an awful idea, and pinyin is the best way to start). The word I use for the 4-2 combination is 大麻 (dàmá, marijuana). 420 blaze it!!
