Very cool! We use those totes around our farm for water catchment using gutters on our coops and barns. Nice job!

This is the way. Built one like this with a little janky cutout door on top to load feed (3 sides cut so you just lift the flap with a rope handle). Then put a couple pieces of scrap wood across the top and added some plastic roofing to keep water from running down and into the food. My IBC was $35 with a little dried water base paint in it that I power washed out easily. Also plumbed schedule 40 PVC with pig watering nipples on a second one. Have pipe that tape on the PVC and a stock tank de-icer inside it. That IBC was $120 and had been used for apple juice. I have some mods to do this summer to make the pig feed run a little easier.

Feed for a pastured hog is not a supplement it is a necessity. The pasture is the supplement.

Would you run into mice issues with that? I used to have just the top of the tote cut, and I discovered mice inside my tote, taking crap and eating my feeds.
