I met Ronnie when I was 13 and had maybe like a 30 minute conversation. My Uncle was the GM at a approximately 13, 000 seat venue in Ohio. He was super cool to me, you couldn't meet a more gracious man. He signed my guitar which had already been signed by some pretty big names.Today it has over 60 signatures on it

I'm glad he mentioned Scorpions. I actually didn't think he would. Ronnie and Klaus have very similar vocal styles.

The world lost a legend when RJD passed. Not only did he have a fantastic voice, but he had a depth of musicianship that most could only hope to attain. He also seemed like a good man who was genuine. Those are rare qualities in rock stars.

And I’m a diehard Ozzy and Black Sabbath fan, but Dio brought a whole new side to the band that we were fortunate enough to see and have on record. That first album of theirs together was/is a classic.

RIP, Ronnie. You were one of the greats.

I didn't think I could love the man any more than I already do but for those to be his favorite bands, he pulled it off. He was my idol growing up and I'll never forget him looking directly at me and giving me the "horns" as I went over the rail at the Texas Jam in '86. RIP RJD!
