Film Music - Spitfire Audio Albion One Competition - StartScoringMoviesNow

If you’re like me and obsessed with creating film scores and orchestral music of your own, Spitfire Audio has some of the best tools in the industry for composers. They’re holding a competition right now asking composers to rescore this trailer for their newly released and updated Albion One Library. Entrants are allowed to use whatever sounds at their disposal, but I wanted to use Albion One exclusively for this. I usually like to sprinkle my own guitars and cellos into my tracks, but this composition is meant to explore the endless sonic possibilities contained within the Albion One library and give you a glimpse of the hard and brilliant work the Spitfire team put into the project.

…also speaking to the library’s versatility, I scored this on a flight from LAX to SYD :)

I love how well written music always proves some "must not" wrong. This reverb-drowned strings sounded really unique, the texture and the melody made me feel nostalgic, I don't know why. Maybe the "muddy" aspect of the reverb made it sound like that vintage eq sound... nice work!
