As someone who never played FarCry 4 but seen the "secret" ending about a dozen times now, I am convinced Pangan Min is a proper gentleman and host and staying at the table must therefor be the only decent way to complete the game. For starters, the crab rangoon is clearly to die for.

The Longing, in it you are a creature who has been tasked with watching over the sleeping king for 400 days. The game takes place in real time and you can find ways to speed up this waiting by exploring…or you can just turn off the game and do something else for 400 days and then come back and get your ending!

Gotta shout out "Don't Press The Button", a neat little puzzle game with a bunch of endings, including one where you. Just don't do anything! Just do what you're told, don't press the button, and everything is good!

You could argue that undertale yellow has an ending like that. When you fall down (again) after the tutorial section toriel asks you to stay there so that she can fetch rope to help you climb back up. Do that for like 5-10 minutes and exactly that happens, prompting you to climb said rope and allegedly making flowey angry enough to reset the story before you're halfway up the hole

I still am bummed that they never put out a DLC for Far Cry 4 where you can trigger the secret ending (or make it easier to trigger than wait 15 minutes) and then continue on to play an alternate storyline where you are on Pagan Min's side.

Not only can you complete Far Cry 4 by doing nothing, you get the best ending. Ajay and Uncle Pagan going off to have some fun together is just so wholesome.

9:17 also, a good contender for "games that have no good ending/s", hinthint, nudgenudge? Well, I guess there IS _technically_ a good ending: if you get Ellen killed in Viola's body, so even though Viola dies, Ellen is still punished for what she did. Which, at best, is a Pyrrhic victory. Cause, you know, Viola still has a quite horrific death after experiencing a very brutal betrayal. All that happened, when all she did was go out of her way to befriend what seemed to be a lonely, misunderstood girl.

I just did this in another game! Infernax has several silly endings you can get, including one for sleeping at an inn too many times in a row, but the fastest way to beat the game is to move forward until the zombie stands up and starts moving. Then you can simply turn around and get in the boat you arrived in and ask the boatman to leave. Credits.

It unlocks a new book in the Library, The Path of the Coward, which includes more hints and codes for more unlocks, so it actually GIVES you something for beating the game this way.

It involves slightly more than literal "nothing" but not much. In Shadow Complex, the metroidvania, you and your girlfriend stumble across some secret underground military base. She gets captured and taken into the base, and you're supposed to go in and rescue her. But if you just go back a few screens to your car, our "hero" drives off, saying "Plenty more fish in the sea" and the credits roll. Evil :)

Ah Witch's House, one of the few games where you actually want to let the character you play as die

Apparently in Witch's House if you don't geab a specific item when "Viola" is chasing you, you never actually find out that the two girls switched bodies

there is a game called The Longing where the entire point of the game is to wait 400 real time days for the king to wake up.
i assume you could do nothing and win the game in a little over a year

Here’s another good one!
Space Quest 2: you can beat the WHOLE GAME by typing one word into the parser; “Cheat”. You get 255/250 points and get a long message from the Sierra team patting you on the back for your ingenuity and out of the box thinking.
