I used one of these to revive my parents 2017 Vintage Acer Aspire laptop that came OEM with with a 7th gen Core i7, 8GB of ADATA RAM, and a Seagate 1TB HDD. Max of 32GB of Crucial RAM and this SSD later it went from stupid slow with 100% Disk activity way too often to a pretty competent machine again for $140 @ BB prices. Well worth it for an afternoon project.
